Publication Ethics

Journal Policies

GJPSR is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, transparency and research integrity across every stage of the editorial process.

01

Manuscript Submission Policy

Authors are required to submit manuscripts through the journal's designated online submission system. The online submission process enables the journal to manage manuscripts, editorial assessment, peer review, revisions, and publication efficiently.

Manuscripts submitted to GJPSR must:

  • Be original scholarly work.
  • Not have been published previously, except where appropriately disclosed and permitted by the journal's policies.
  • Not be under consideration by another journal.
  • Follow the journal's Author Guidelines and manuscript preparation requirements.
  • Include all required ethical, authorship, funding, conflict-of-interest, and other applicable declarations.
  • Meet the scientific and editorial requirements of the journal.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all information submitted with the manuscript.

02

Peer Review and Editorial Process

GJPSR follows a double-blind peer-review process for eligible manuscripts.

Submitted manuscripts first undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability with respect to:

  • Journal scope
  • Originality
  • Scientific quality
  • Methodological soundness
  • Ethical requirements
  • Manuscript preparation requirements
  • Potential plagiarism or inappropriate text overlap

Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment may be evaluated by at least two independent reviewers, depending on the article type and editorial requirements.

Reviewers assess manuscripts for scientific quality, originality, methodology, interpretation of results, ethical compliance, clarity, and relevance.

Possible editorial decisions include:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

The peer-review period may vary depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, revisions, and other editorial circumstances. GJPSR aims to process manuscripts efficiently while maintaining the quality and independence of peer review.

03

Ethical Publication Policy

GJPSR is committed to maintaining high standards of research integrity and publication ethics.

Authors must comply with applicable ethical requirements when conducting and reporting research involving:

  • Human participants
  • Animals
  • Clinical studies
  • Identifiable personal information
  • Other research requiring ethical oversight

Where applicable, manuscripts must include information regarding ethical approval, institutional review, informed consent, and relevant ethical guidelines.

Authors must accurately report their research and must not engage in:

  • Fabrication
  • Falsification
  • Plagiarism
  • Duplicate publication
  • Manipulation of data or images
  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest
  • Other forms of research or publication misconduct

Potential ethical concerns may be investigated in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics and Research Integrity Policy.

04

Copyright and Licensing Policy

GJPSR's copyright and licensing arrangements are governed by the journal's Copyright and Licensing Policy and the applicable agreement between the journal and the authors.

Authors retain the rights specified in the applicable publishing agreement while granting the journal the necessary rights to publish, distribute, preserve, and make the article available through its publishing platform.

Where applicable, articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing appropriate access, sharing, and reuse subject to the conditions of the license.

Authors may share their published work through appropriate institutional repositories and other scholarly platforms in accordance with the applicable licensing and copyright terms.

The specific copyright and license information applicable to each article is displayed on its article page.

05

Open Access Policy

GJPSR follows an open-access publishing model.

Published articles are made freely accessible online to readers without subscription or pay-per-view barriers.

Articles are made available immediately upon publication, subject to the applicable copyright and licensing terms.

The journal's open-access model is intended to facilitate the broad dissemination, accessibility, and discoverability of scholarly research.

Open access does not affect the journal's editorial standards, peer-review process, or publication-ethics requirements.

Further details are provided in the journal's Open Access Policy.

06

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, institutional, or other interests that could influence, or could reasonably be perceived to influence, the research or its interpretation.

Where no relevant conflict exists, authors should provide an appropriate declaration.

Editors and reviewers must also disclose relevant conflicts of interest and should not participate in the evaluation or decision-making process where their impartiality could reasonably be affected.

Conflicts of interest are managed in accordance with the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy.

07

Retraction and Correction Policy

GJPSR is committed to maintaining the integrity of the published scholarly record.

When a significant error or concern is identified after publication, the journal may issue an appropriate:

  • Correction
  • Corrigendum or erratum, where applicable
  • Expression of Concern
  • Retraction

The action taken will depend on the nature, significance, evidence, and impact of the identified issue.

Corrections and retractions will be clearly identified and linked to the original article wherever applicable.

Authors may notify the journal of errors in their published work. The editorial team may also initiate corrective action when concerns are identified independently.

Retractions are not used simply to remove an article because of disagreement with its findings. They are considered when the integrity or reliability of the published record has been substantially compromised.

Further details are provided in the journal's Corrections and Retractions Policy.

08

Data Sharing and Availability Policy

GJPSR encourages authors to promote research transparency, data availability, and reproducibility where ethically, legally, and practically appropriate.

Authors are encouraged to make relevant research data, protocols, analytical procedures, code, and supplementary materials available through appropriate repositories where possible.

Where research data cannot be publicly shared because of:

  • Participant privacy
  • Confidentiality
  • Legal restrictions
  • Ethical considerations
  • Intellectual property restrictions
  • Other legitimate limitations

authors should provide an appropriate explanation.

The journal may request supporting data, documentation, or other research materials when necessary to evaluate concerns regarding the validity or integrity of a manuscript.

Data availability statements should be included where applicable.

09

Plagiarism and Redundant Publication Policy

GJPSR expects all submitted manuscripts to represent original scholarly work.

The journal may use appropriate plagiarism or similarity-detection tools during editorial assessment.

Potential concerns may include:

  • Direct plagiarism
  • Inadequate attribution
  • Unacceptable text reuse
  • Duplicate publication
  • Redundant publication
  • Reuse of previously published data without appropriate disclosure

A similarity report alone does not automatically establish plagiarism. The editorial team will assess the nature, extent, source, and context of identified similarities.

Where substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other serious forms of inappropriate publication practice are identified, the manuscript may be rejected and the matter may be investigated in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics and Research Integrity Policy.

Where appropriate, serious or repeated misconduct may be communicated to the relevant institution or responsible authority.

Complaints concerning the editorial, peer-review, ethical, or publication process may be submitted to the Editorial Office.

Complaints and appeals will be considered objectively and handled in accordance with the journal's applicable policies.
